Elective Classes

All students must carry their 3 ring binder, pens/pencils, book to read and planner to ALL classes. In addition to the supplies listed for core classes, all students should bring these supplies to elective classes:

  • 2 boxes of facial tissues
  • 1 bottle of hand sanitizer
  • 1 paper towel rolls
Band
  • 1 inch white binder
Art (7th and 8th grades)
  • 4 #2 pencils
  • 2 black Sharpies (1 regular and 1 thin)
Art (6th grade)
  • 2 #2 pencils
  • 1 black Sharpie (any width)
FACS
  • 1 pocket folder



Sixth Grade

All 6th grade students must have a sturdy three ring, 3-5 inch binder that zips or fastens (trapper keeper style)

The following should fit inside the binder:

  • 5 folders (2 pockets - no brads) one for each core class: green, blue, red, yellow, and purple
  • 3 folders (2 pockets - no brads): any colors other than above for 2 encore classes and 1 advisory
  • loose leaf paper - wide rule
  • 3 ring pencil pouch
  • pencils, pencils and more pencils!
  • pens: blue/black/red (no gel pens)
  • colored pencils
  • 2 glue sticks
  • highlighter
  • large, good eraser
  • markers
  • hand-held pencil sharpener
  • 4 spiral notebooks: red, green, purple and yellow 
  • calculator (does not have to be scientific, although it can be)
  • One combination lock for Physical Education. (Students will be provided a lock for their hallway locker)
  • Please Replenish supplies as needed.

NO Scissors or Rulers- they will be supplied as needed by the teachers

Students will also bring to their advisory class:

  • 3 boxes of facial tissues
  • 1 bottle of hand sanitizer
  • 2 paper towel rolls

In addition to these essential tools for education, students will be required to have in their possession at all times their school picture ID, a planner provided by the school, and a book to read.


Seventh Grade

  • 3” binder with zipper
  • 6 folders for core classes
  • 3 folders for elective classes
  • 3 ring pencil pouch
  • on-going supply of #2 pencils (do not buy mechanical pencils)
  • blue or black pens
  • 2 or more red pens
  • colored pencils
  • markers (Crayola or similar)
  • dry erase markers (4-pack)
  • 1 permanent marker (Sharpie or similar)
  • scissors (kid friendly)
  • ruler
  • erasers
  • glue sticks
  • highlighters
  • A hand-held pencil sharpener
  • scientific calculator (recommend TI-30X IIS)
  • ongoing supply of wide-ruled filler paper
  • 5 spiral notebooks 
  • 2 composition books
To be turned in to advisory:
  • 1 roll of paper towels
  • 1 tube of Clorox Wipes (or any brand)
  • 3 boxes of Kleenex (any brand)
Please replenish supplies as needed.
 

Eighth Grade


The 8th grade teachers have expanded the list to include duplicates of many items. It is their experience that most supplies last one semester. Supplies are as follows:

  • one 3" zippered binder
  • 10 - two pocket folders
    •   2 blue - 2 red - 2 green - 2 yellow - 2 purple or black
  • 10 spiral notebooks 
    •   2 blue - 2 red - 2 green - 2 yellow - 2 purple or black
  • 3 packages of lined notebook paper
  • 2 packages of index cards
  • pencils - at least 2 packages
  • pens - black or blue - at least 2 packages
  • red pens - at least 2
  • highlighters - at least 2
  • one zippered pencil pouch
  • scientific calculator for math
  • graph paper for math
  • One combination lock for Physical Education. (Students will be provided a lock for their hallway locker)

The following items will be kept in advisory classes; half will be saved for the second semester

  • 2 packages of colored pencils
  • 2 packages of markers
  • 2 glue sticks
  • 2 boxes of tissue
  • 2 rolls of paper towels
  • 1 bottle of hand sanitizer OR disinfecting wipes
